Luckily, there are lots of great restaurants and bars throughout the five boroughs that are more than worth the trip. If you need a little help deciding how you’ll eat your way around the city, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Black-owned restaurants in the Big Apple that are sure to have something for everyone. Be warned, you’ll eat so well you may want to save your Uber money and walk back to your hotel instead.

Harlem has ALLLL the good brunch spots! Red Rooster is no exception. They have a wide selection of choices offering the best of soul food. The DRINKS THO!! I loved the “roosterlada”. I had the chicken and waffles which was very flavorful. The mash potatoes were REALLY good. The Jerk salmon bowl was amazing (9/10 per my bf). Aside from the stunning interior, the customer service was also excellent. The waiter was kind enough to give us a complimentary dessert (if you love chocolate, you’ll love the mousse cake!) 📍Red Rooster 310 Lennox Avenue Harlem, NY If you’d like to see more NYC spots actually worth your time, follow along ☺ . . #ugccreator #ugc #foodblogger #foodtiktok #foodie #foodreview #nyc #nyclife #thingstodoinnyc #brunchtok #brunchnyc #brunchplacesnyc #placestoeatnyc #harlem #harlemnyc
