Fiercest Looks Black Stylists Wayman + Micah Have Curated This Year

If you’ve been following red carpet fashion as closely as we have, you know that Danielle Deadwyler, Teyana Taylor, Colman Domingo and Jodie Turner-Smith are among the Black stars who have held their spot on Best Dressed lists all year long. But what you may not know is that many of those great looks were curated by Black stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, better known as Wayman + Micah. The pair, who started their careers in fashion in New York City, were introduced by a mutual  friend. After discovering their similar goals and approach to style, they decided to join forces in 2013 and haven’t looked back.

Since then, they have dressed some of the best, including a total of 9 stars for the 2025 Met Gala.

As we prepare to close the books on 2025, we’re looking back at some of our favorite Wayman + Micah looks this year.
